I could not be more excited for this.

Saw Dead & Co. there on my birthday 2 years ago. First time at The Sphere. It was spectacular.

Metallica is one of my Mount Rushmore bands. I will absolutely be at at least one of the weekends.

Got in the queue at 4PM.

    Was 135K in line.

    40 minutes, sold out.

Tickets kept popping up, couldn't cart them.

Had to re-enter the queue, 150K in line.

After an hour and 9 minutes...

    LET'S
    FUCKING

Outrageous. Sorry but no band is worth 4k. It was not an accident that you got tickets. TM just trying to get 4k out of you. I hope you have a good time at least. I mean that sincerely even though I hate Vegas.

    I hear you. It's lunacy.

I count myself as lucky that I'm in the position to be able to do it.

Metallica is one of my Mount Rushmore bands.

I go to Vegas every couple of years with my best buddy from college. I love it there.

Haven't seen him in a couple of years, and not since I had a heart attack last year. He'll be there.

Seeing Metallica at The Sphere on Halloween in a penguin costume is something that I can't put a figurative price on. I couldn't be more excited. I wanna fucking cry lol.

I cannot fault you for putting friends and experience over money. I respect that.

Not entirely lol, as my friends are paying for their tickets, to be clear. So it's really only costing me $2K. $4K = $1K per ticket, 2 people, 2 shows.

But my friends know that I don't care about the $, and was willing
/prepared to cover it all. Not that I'm Daddy Warbucks, but I spend my money on the people and things that matter to me. If I can do it, great. If I can bring folks along for the ride, even better.

Well god bless and have fun with loved ones. That is what matters. Even if they have to throw in a bit to make it happen! But those prices are still offensive. I would never pay a grand to see PJ. After 61 shows I might be spoiled.

I saw the Circle Jerks at the old 9:30 Club in the late 80s. Crazy show for sure.

Them and the Dropkick Murphys in a small club was a workout! Edit: the 9:30 club and the electric factory in Philly were two of my favorite venues.
