Fenway Seats

Hi, I have seats in G11 row 1 and also F47 row B. Can any Boston fans tell me which would be better? I have already looked on the MLB site and a viewfromyourseat but it’s hard to tell… Thank you!

G11 is *probably* better. Major disadvantage is that there is a pole right in the middle of the section. If you have seat 6 or lower, you're probably fine. Seats 7, 8, and 12 probably won't be obstructed, but the pole will be annoying. Seats 9, 10, and 11 will be bad - pole will block much of the stage. Seats 13 and up should be pretty good sight lines to the stage. Had seats in that area for night 2 in 2016, and the pole is kind of obnoxious. The sound is pretty good though; you're under the roof, so you get some reverb, but not as bad as a few rows back.

F47 is preferable from a sound perspective - open air, probably more straight back from the stage - but you'll be further away. The netting will probably be up, too, but I've also sat over there for PJ, and found that you get used to it very quickly. Bigger issue might just be seeing in general. Only a few rows off the field, so you're looking over the Turf sections and the pit to see anything. I also think it feels a little removed from the atmosphere in a way, as there is NOBODY in the infield. So, you have this feeling of being way behind the crowd. You're a few rows back, so that might be mitigated, but it's something to keep in mind.

thank you so much! this is so helpful. my seats are higher than 13 so sounds like g11 is the way to go. really appreciate your taking the time to write! hope you will be seeing them somewhere this year. :-)
