Just nailed Downtown

Whooo mama, I just nailed the tone from neil on Downtown. I just kept playing it over and over thru my marshal mini stack, rolled back on the treble, mid contour and semi heavy bass and bam, sounded so sweet! That was with my silvertone strat too. Had an ibanez comp/sus., boss sd-1 to a boss ds-1 on. After that I cranked out the star spangled banner ala jimi with the crybaby, just for shits and giggles. Hey, what the hell, the better I get the more i wanna brag a little, ya know. Thanks for your time.

    I can get it as well, but it sounds like shit on my solid state amp, i tried it on my friends tube amp...i used my Boss DS-2 and i put the level to about 7 and the tone and distortion at 4
