Thank you 10Club

29-year member here, and I for one really appreciate what you do.

Please keep having 10C tickets. Yes, easy for me to say, as seniority gets me great seats, but I also say this because the fan to fan ticket exchange often opens up these seats for anyone, at a relatively decent price (I had to sell my tickets from the '22 tour, Oakland night 2, and ended up getting tickets for night 1 that were just as good at the same price).

Frankly, there are few bands who try to do right by their biggest fans the way you do.

As far as all the negativity generated by the non-fanclub sale,Ticketmaster's recent trend of price gauging is mind boggling, but I don't blame the band for it. I suspect that these days a band doesn't have much choice, as evinced by the prices for other bands/acts that play the big arenas. PJ tried to fight them 30 years ago, but the beast is much much bigger now, and the non-Ticketmaster options are basically nonexistent.

But you don't have to buy tickets the day tickets go on sale, and you don't have to pay the premium for "premium" tickets. If you keep checking back once the fan to fan ticket exchange gets put in place, you'll see some tickets that aren't $$$$. When it gets close to show time, more tickets tend to show up.

And as far as a better way to manage things, if 10C limited fan club seats to only amazing seats, that would shut out even more people from the lottery. And Ticketmaster would be charging the big bucks for the seats that were previously fan club seats.

Anyway, I'll probably get flamed, as this board has turned into another social media troll fest, and I imagine that I'll hear a fair amount of "being a fan for a long time doesn't make you the biggest fan." (after I put my hearing aids on, that is).

I just wanted to express a little gratitude nonetheless.

Jim

I second the positivity! I only tried for Philly shows in the lottery, and while I didn’t get picked, I was quite happy to get face value tickets for both nights. Excited for the new album, and excited for a future Philly road trip with my son and sister!
