Promoting Dark Matter

What does everyone think? Obv not the bands fave thing, but Ed did a good amount for Earthling, and band had setup some cool stuff for Giga.

So far, Mike, Stone quoted in magazines. Obviously the listening party w/the infamous side door eavesdropping. We had the Clio's! Well done Jeff!

The email on that Saturday was fun, releasing tour dates with a single was also awesome. The presale has now concluded with one more shot Friday... which leaves us with??

Will they interview with anyone (Gleason, Apatow, Zane Lowe, Bruce in the recent past)? Any late night appearances? Podcasts? It's always interesting to see if they have anything as its fun to watch as a fun, and we continue to learn more and more about the band that invented Easter Eggs!?

I'd expect as we get closer to the release date the band members will be doing radio and perhaps some podcast interviews.  Probably a late night TV performance or 2.

RollingStone isn't even a thing anymore.. I wonder if SNL still is? Ed really went to alternative sources to promo Earthlings, and then even Stern for Giga... if this is perhaps their best work, would love to know more. State of love pod had a cool episode breaking down Dark Matter. I wonder if there's someone out there that Ed would sit down with as well as the band. Loved the small snippets during Single Video Theory, Gleason/Apatow interviews. Who might be someone they'd want to really chat music with.... especially with the Watt factor.... Apple behind the scenes thing like they just did with Patriots? Bar Stool? Stay old school Cameron Crowe?

So far it looks like it's going well. Really like last night's Hockey Night In Canada montage of Dark Matter.

Still hoping they do something live with SiriusXM.

    next cpl weeks, 2nd single?
  • Would Wd ever do Rogan?  Would be amazing to hear those two drink beers and hang and chat.  Have a feeling they would get along well but also doubt he would ever do the interview.
