NYC 2022 - Non-Lottery tickets

I'm unsure if this had been asked in the past - for NYC 2022, those who managed to get in the building outside the lottery avenue or by having a "walking in together" type of agreement with another member... were you able to get tickets (Non PJ PREMIUM) via the registered fan route?

I'm just trying to get an idea and brace myself with the degree of difficulty on securing the non PJ PREMIUM tickets. thanks in advance

  • I was shut out for 10Club draw and after waiting in registered queue for approx 8 minutes after 10 am start  the only tickets left were PJ premium starting at around 500 USD but even these the prices continued to flex higher as they sold out
  • They released the barstool seats behind the stage the morning of the show. Also pretty sure the chase bridge seats had a drop at some point. This year will be different though between two shows instead of one, and the 10c seating chart. Last resort if you want to pay face value only is to get in line at the box office at 4am and wait.

I was able to score front row floor seats (behind GA) when they opened it up to allow F2F tickets to be sold. I was extremely lucky. Once in a lifetime situation. You will have to commit to spending every free moment refreshing Ticketmaster like a crazy person for weeks, probably months.

Persistence is key. Tickets shake loose as you get closer to the show...day of drops, folks with tickets having something come up, etc... Pay close attention to the boards closer to the show and you might have some luck!

I was shut out of the lottery and Verified Fan sale (both in 2020 and 2022). I checked everyday after the original sale and in June got Premium seats for $250 each, first row behind the stage. I have say, it wasn’t my first choice but ended up being really amazing. Person next to me got a tambourine!

🤦🏽‍♂️ Yes there was, but no one used it except that lucky score.

  • I used to get verified all the time when they first instituted that scam. In the past few years, I have been waitlisted for every registration I entered. What was really annoying last time, is that since I wasn't verified, even if I saw a pair of face value tickets pop up for MSG, they would NOT allow me to purchase them because my TM acct had not received a code during the initial sale. Oh, but I was welcome to purchase premium seats for up to $4k a piece.

Sorry, let me rephrase. It was a 10C ticket being resold at the original price.

In 2020 I got lucky that a person on the forum was selling theirs. They posted, and I was the first one to PM them. So, keep checking the forum as well.

Yup. Not possible to get off the waitlist. Even long after the show has sold out.

I was able to get 2 lower level seats (non-premium) for MSG in 2022 from the verified fan sale.
