So, how much is a "Pearl Jam Premium VIP" ticket?

For a better seated ticket, or a premium standing in GA-ticket? How much are they compared to the lottery-ticket? What is the extra cost for this and to make sure you get a good seat?

the best indication right now is the Indy show since it shows premium for sale right now.  Standard tickets were 151 USD, premium tickets hovered between 600-900 USD, and they are not usually better than other seats. Most of the time, there are just sprinkled in to the standard ticket pool

    Depends on the venue.
At MSG some were well into multiple thousands of dollars.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Don't buy them! They will sit and eventually drop in price.

It's Platinum Tickets by another name. They will be 3x-5x the price and be scattered everywhere.

Don't buy them.  They'll drop the prices down to face value a day or 2 before the show.

But, what I don't understand is.... how will Eddie be able to point at and shame the privileged haves when they are no longer up in the VIP boxes behind glass and instead spread around all over?

    This is the way.

It's tough though.  Most of us grew up where the approach for selling tickets, was promoters wanting to sell them all right away.  So we all learned to buy our tickets immediately or you had to deal with scalpers (or at best hope for ticket drops as the show approached).   With platinum tickets, the whole thing has inverted.    The payoff is if you wait to buy the tickets.  It's horrible if you have to travel to shows like I do, because it doesn't feel right booking hotels, time off work, and stuff when you don't have tickets in hand :(

My understanding is standing/GA is 10c only. No premium.

Seated, it fluctuates based on demand. MSG in NY was over $2k USD for a great lower bowl ticket in 2022.  Other cities had some in the $500 to $800 USD range.

MSG got up to $5000 plus fees for one ticket. There seems to be no ceiling for premium if people are buying.
