When we get ticket confirmation will we know if it’s Pit or P1?

Since requesting a pit ticket is no longer a separate choice I’m not sure how much info we will get. If I put in for all of the options for a show and get a confirmation what will it say? Will I know if it’s Pit, P1, or P2, or just that it’s either P1/Pit or P2?

has anyone seen this explained anywhere?

At least during last year’s lottery, if you were confirmed for tickets, you were notified in the confirmation if you were selected for GA or seats.

also curious how seniority works with the two tiers for reserved seating.  I would assume a higher 10C number who is drawn for P1 gets a closer seat than a lower 10C member who is drawn for P2?

  • Sorry if this has been asked…going to put in for Wrigley and was not sure if I should select both options for tickets (GA and P1 & P1) as it looks like it will allow you to select both.

In the past I have gone reserve seats option as have a low # but not sure if doing both helps my odds or not.

Personally I would choose both. Last year for Indy I just chose the 1 and not lawn and got shut out but my friend I go to shows with chose both and got tickets in the pavilion. It was the first show I've requested and not got anything for.

It’s probably best to choose both, but neither my husband nor I selected lawn for Indy. We did not want to fly out there for lawn. Both of us got pavilion seats (that were reassigned a few times) and his sold on f2f in under 10 seconds.

Did you guys get your tickets pretty quickly so you could sell them through f2f? I ask bc I want to try for GA Wrigley N1 but probably only going to that show if I get lucky. Just don't want to have to hold onto them for 6 months lol

If memory serves, he was declined the first pass, I had won. Then they re-did it two more times and he won. I think we knew seat assignments immediately, I remember both changed for the worse after reassignment. I didn’t bother trying to sell his on f2f for at least a month, but I’d imagine you can right away, once they open up the marketplace. No idea when they will open it though.

Yes. The confirmation says whether it's PIT or P1.
