Berlin seating question

Anyone know if there are reserved seats for these shows or is it open seating as before? And if open, early entry?

I think at this point no one knows, as there is no specific information for the Waldbühne.
Early entry for 10C is mentioned somewhere in the FAQs, but it also says no early entry for reserved seating.
Question is, if this applies to the Waldbühne because it could as well be open seating.
Judging from the graphic used in the 10C sale, all seats are in one color, so this might indicate open seating.
But for other concerts there, there is only reserved/allocated seating.
And now that there is TM, different pricing and whatnot involved with 10C, I guess everything is possible.
I’m still hoping for early entry and open seating for 10C though.

I called Live Nation Berlin today, they said, PJ Waldbühne is reserved seating, with cheaper sections in the upper levels.
    Tenclub should be B,C,D section.

That is what i dont understand , in the 10c site to try for the lottery for lets say berlin it has the entire ga and seating available for 10c , does this means 10c will have X amount of tickets for each section?

Barcelona the same way everything is available in the lottery.

London is diferrent because the charting map does have all available for 10c

Thank you for your efforts. I would be delighted if it is true. But then why is the entire Waldbühne marked blue for the Ten Club Presale? As described in the official Ten Club letter:

"Ten Club ticketed areas will be highlighted on the seating chart during the ticket request process. Due to high demand at many of these shows, Ten Club seats can be located in some of the upper sections."

Second question. "Tenclub should be B,C,D section." Is that a statement from Live Nation or your assumption?

Anyone else get  "We will send you an email by the evening of Wednesday, February 21st to let you know whether one of your requests was successful and explain the next steps." after putting in for tickets?  Will we know before the presale or are they saying we won't know until the 21st?

I got that too. For me, that means I'll find out on February 21 whether I've won the Ten Club lottery or not.

Hi, anyone from the UK try registering with TM for the general sale for Berlin?  If so, how did you get the site to change text from German to English?  I clicked on the translate option and also changed the settings to EN in the top left corner of the screen, but it still displays in German?

Thanks but I probably won't be able to afford her if I buy these tour tickets  :);)  I registered for UK TM sale also, so i'll have to switch between the 2 confirmation emails if I get selected for Berlin.

    First question:
I do not know, but on the Ticketmaster seating map sections are separated in- for example- B1 and B2, C1 and C2...
Why should they do that, if there is general admission?
And in the Tenclub letter this is not written for Berlin in particular, this is written for most of the concerts/seating maps instead.
And the lady from Live Nation asked within the company for that question (GA or reserved), got answer and called me back with the information some hours later yesterday.

Second question: she did not name exactly B,C and D. This was my guess, because in other Waldbühne seating map concerts, these are the seated sections with the most expensive tickets.

I am pretty sure it will be open seating like it always was in Berlin. Only for the Golden Circle (standing) you will need a special ticket just because the space is quite limited.

It's been reserved seating for near enough every major gig there since the last PJ gig.
Think bands/promoters have realised they can make more money this way.

Green Day seems to be a choice of GA floor or GA seats. No reserved seats. Just one big seat GA "Platzwahl Frei" section.

Is the reserved seating by block? I can't recall seeing seat numbers anywhere.

Yes, at least according to the link TinaE shared:

Platzkarten gibt es keine, innerhalb Ihres Blockes können Sie den Sitzplatz frei wählen.“ -> There are no reserved seats, you can choose your seat freely within your block

    That means nothing.
For example, check Maffay Tickets Berlin at eBay de:
All tickets have section, row, seat number
    06/15/92, 08/14/95, 11/03/96, 09/11/98, 06/11/00, 06/23/00, 06/25/00, 06/18/03, 06/21/03, 09/28/04,

What I don't understand is if upper seats are going to be cheaper than the seats nearer the front (makes sense)...then why are the ten club tickets all the same price? Or does that mean in the general sale the cheapest seats will be 175 euros, and everything else will be more?

And if the whole Waldbuhne seating map is highlighted for ten club, while some other venues have grayed out sections for PJ Premium / dynamic pricing / general sale tickets...then surely it means for Berlin that you could end up with tickets anywhere in the venue, front or back. I'd definitely like to be wrong and it just be blocks B, C, and D though. I'd definitely put in for the lottery if that was the case.

This varies from concert to concert on the Waldbühne. The artists / organizers get what they want. We'll find out as soon as the first people get their tickets for Berlin. It will either show just the block or the block together with a row and seat number.

Got a e-mail from 10c, where they confirmed that Berlin will have reserved seating this year. Didn’t specify whether it will be specific seats or sections though.

The question is, if Live Nation confirmed cheaper seating categories, why is 10c highlighting the whole map for their seating option. They wouldn‘t sell us cheap seats for a premium price would they?

they have tickets for all sections , not all tickets but some tickets for all sections is what i presume

I think, Tenclub seats are only in the high price section blocks, and Tenclub is aware of this, of course.
Live Nation said to me, there should be different seating price levels, but this is not for sure. Information is from Wednesday.

That was not my point. If they have seats in the upper level and sell those seats to us for 175€, this contradicts with the info that there would be cheaper seats.

So it‘s either 10c sells us cheap seats for a premium price, it‘s only the last row that‘s cheaper or the info is wrong.

Yeah, IF I sit in a seat I paid 175 Eur for and my non-10c-neighbor only paid 150 for that, I will not be happy. But maybe let’s wait where the 10c-seats are actually located.
