Can't update ticket selections?

edited February 14 in The Porch
I submitted my choices, went back in to modify the # of tickets I wanted for one show and it's making a brand new request. I don't see any way to modify the initial submission on Ticketmaster, and am afraid putting in a new request will invalidate the previous. We were able to modify our selections in the past, even last year's tour. So what's up with this one?

Putting in a new request will definitely invalidate the previous. But that’s how you make changes. Just submit a new request for everything you want, and the old one will be ignored.

Nothing different, you always had to start a fresh new request and any previous requests were cancelled.

So if you put in Boston on your first request and then decided you want to try New York after you submitted, create a new request with Boston and New York dates. In the case of modifying # of tickets or adding seat sections, same thing - brand new request.
  • Nice to see Ticketmaster continues its penchant for making the process more complicated each time.

I'd trust them handling one request from each of us vs trying to interpret multiple edits. Process has been like this for a while now. From the confirmation email:

    Updating Your Request
If you would like to update your request (e.g. add shows, add sections, change ticket quantity, etc) you can submit a new request with all of your preferences re-selected. We will only consider your most recent request. You have until Sunday, February 18 at 7:00am PT to submit a new request, which will cancel any prior requests. Go to Ten Club Ticket Request.

It's not multiple edits. You edit an existing request and the request goes through on Sunday. From a software perspective, this is actually easier and less confusing to implement.
