I don't usually complain about 10C shipping too much because I understand that it's a small business and whatnot, but this time I question how bad I need any of this stuff. I'm sure less exclusive variants will be available on Amazon soon, but the worst is the EMI store is selling the bundle (LP, single, deluxe CD) where shipping is only $9 to the U.S. At the 10C store, the same bundle, albeit with exclusive vinyl, shipping is $54.82. That seems insanely excessive. Even if 10C has to ship each item separately, $55 still seems like too much. I don't get it.

I want to support the band directly, but I'm not that wealthy either.
  • $13 to MA for me.  Still nuts.  I’ve purchased vinyl from WA and paid $4 for media mail.

Yeah I wouldn't complain normally but the items I'm ordering are $88 and the shipping is $55....that's hard to swallow

What? Sure they do. They put the store on a release timer and turn off the lights. You think someone was sitting there all night?
Yes. As someone that runs multiple websites, I'm definitely there in case anything goes wrong. Working through the middle of the night is common. Now, they could have just had technical people on hand, not anyone with the authority to change pricing, if it was even wrong to begin with.

The other thing I might do is just buy from my local record store. It'll be full retail, but at least I'll be supporting them directly which is never a bad thing. They've been around since, I think, the '60s and I've been buying from them my entire adult life, so I like to think I help them keep going.

Yep, good call.. Maybe the 10c will notice when they wake up and get on the board. No one is talking about the single but complaining about fraudulent pricing.

I also agree.. we need to start rounding up to $28 and not rounding down to $27

The shipping rate to Chile for the vinyl record is 70.52 more expensive than the vinyl itself. This is outrageous.

Remember the 90's when they were fighting against Ticketmaster for ticket prices, well this goes totally against that spirit.

Shipping to Phoenix $13.30 for 10c edition vinyl.  Total came to $59.20.

Comparatively, my Metallica pre-order 72seasons variant vinyl was $47.40 - this was pretty bare bones 2 LPs no art books. Tool Fear Innoculum Vinyl was about $65 - this also included a large booklet of art.

Could be some of the higher cost is whats included like the art work.  There is a 24 page booklet and stickers included..

Overall, pricing seems to be on par with industry norm for people in the $13 range on their shipping. Really harsh blow for international and people whose shipping is significantly more then that.

I've kept the vinyl and a CD in my shopping cart, I just refreshed the charges and shipping went from $45 to $27. Maybe it'll keep dropping as they stomp bugs.
