When I a young kid, David Soul was one of my first celebrity crushes (after David Cassidy). I remember begging my mom for a Starsky and Hutch T-shirt (maybe from Spencers) when I was around 8 years old. RIP David Soul!

    That is sad news.  I remember watching the show many times. 
    Soul also made a handful of records.  Nothing outstanding, but not bad.  I used to have this one, his first LP:
