Very sad news. Tom was a neighbor of mine when I lived in Kenwood. I
never actually met him, but saw him as I drove by a few time and we
would both smile and wave. My landlord knew him and shared some fun
stories. Tom and Dick put on a great show up in Tahoe where they played
from time to time. Good time man, great soul, and a big, big loss.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
