I honestly didn't listen to that many albums this year (maybe 10 at the most). I was more into listening to songs than albums but some albums that I really liked were QoSTA and the Hives. They were definitely number 1 and 2 on my list. Will do a more specific list later.

Roughly in some kind of order…

dEUS - How To Replace It
Brad - In The Moment That You’re Born
Foo Fighters - But Here We Are
    Neil Young - Chrome Dreams
Screaming Trees - Wrong Turn To Jahannum

The Hold Steady - The Price of Progress
Folk implosion - Music For KIDS
Mark Lanegan - Live At The Stone Pony
    David Lowery - Vending Machine
QOTSA - In Times New Roman

The Ducks - High Flyin’ 1977
Glen Hansard - All That Was East is West of Me Now
    3rd Secret - 2nd 3rd Secret
    Gaslight Anthem - History Books
    David Kitt - Idiot Check
Tim Rogers & The Twin Set - Tines of Stars Unfurled
Rodrigo y Gabriela - In Between Thoughts… A New World

I’m fully expecting Neil’s ‘Before and After’ to make the list when it’s released this Friday.

A special mention also for Neil’s latest ORS box (22, 23+, 24, 25). Any box that includes Freedom, an expanded Ragged Glory, Weld and Arc contains a certain kind of power like no other.

I still need to check out PJ Harvey, Hector Tellez Jr, and Mudhoney.

This is tough. I listened to a lot of music this year and every year. Problem is that a lot of artists I dig released new albums that were just okay. Here are some that I genuinely listen to regularly.

    Gaslight Anthem - History Books
    Brad - In the Moment
The National - both new ones
    Obituary - Dying of Everything

Maybe there are others that I am forgetting, but I've mostly been listening to older albums.

1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2

My favorite (screw your "u" and your king! ;)) are Weathervanes & Strays by Margo Price. I haven't listened to new QOTSA for some reason. The new Black Pumas seems pretty good.

Tried the Foo Fighters & boygenius albums - on the fence about them. The Blondshell album seemed pretty good - gotta try it out again.
