These murders happened about five years ago a few hours north of me. A year ago Richard Allen was arrested for the murders. 

It seemed pretty cut and dry but there have been some odd things happen related to statements made by Allen's attorney's, etc. This memo recently came to light. If you are interested in true crime it is horrifying and interesting to read. Reminds me of the first season of True Detective.

Well, today was the day. Richard Allen found guilty on all counts.

I honestly haven't stayed up on the case. A lot of people think the confessions were coerced. Should be interesting appeals.

The bridge video sure does look like him. Otherwise the crime itself doesn't seem to fit his personality. Just brutal.
