That Albany 06 show was one of the sleepers of that tour. Great show. Ugly poster though. I was a donkey kong kid when arcade games were a way we spent our time and met girlsI am just not a fan of the poster, but I get the MSG hype.

thirdbeach said:My guess is a decent amount and definitely more than 1996 and 1998. There are also a ton more of these in great condition than the old prints. Lots of the prints you see for sale from 96 and 98 have pin holes, fading, tears etc. Back then it was something cool to put up on the wall without much thought about potential value. By 2010 people were pretty clued in to the fact that quite a few of the posters were worth a bit of cash. I think if they put this up at around $1750 someone would have bought it by now based on the fact that there are only 200 that are S/N.
Much fewer of those ones still around in "mint" condition. I don't recall seeing poster tubes until ~2003 shows. A lot of these ones were just rubber-banded at the show. I don't recall early merch lines either for too many shows so you had to bring them in. I remember going to a Camden show probably '98 where I went into the venue first to buy the poster. Then passed it off to my body through the gate to run it back to the car to keep it safe during the show.TFC '97, TFC '98, Pittsburgh '98, Camden I,II '98, Camden I,II '00, Pittsburgh '00, Philly '03, Camden I,II '03, MSG I,II '03, Hershey '03, Reading '04, Philly '05, Camden I,II '06, Meadowlands I '06, Camden I,II '08, DC '08, Spectrum I,II,III,IV '09, Made in America '12, Philly I,II '13, GCF '15, Philly I,II '16, MSG I '16, Apollo ‘22, MSG ‘22, Camden ‘22, MSG I,II '24, Philly I,II '240 -
So which poster from this sale will be the last one to sell out?0

At this point I would much rather prefer paying $75 for a reprint, instead of paying "Poor Man's Art Fees". I think most of us just want a piece of nostalgia to remind us of a great show we attended in our youth to fill our man cave, versus the collectors/investment side of it. Mark it as a reprint to avoid bad actors and reprint the top 20 most in-demand - I would think you could print 5,000 at $75 Kongs and make $375K - otherwise the way it is currently structured is just another version of ebay. Give the fans what they want and the artist get to eat as well.0

I had a bootleg Kong poster made for myself and I'm fine with that."I got memories, I got shit"0
