i have that in my kitchen.  my first show (austin) and i believe it was $5.  someone offered me $20 for it on the way out and i wonder if i would have sold it if i'd still be collecting posters today...
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

    From Expressobeans:
AP2 posters are not reprints but instead additional 1st run prints returned to the artist, then signed, numbered and sold.”

Yes, and it caused quite a stir, iirc.

Bought the KC 2003 poster. I was front row at that one, didn't feel like carrying a poster around that day. Good thing too because it fucking poured on us (so much so it flooded up to my shoes until it stopped).
I was in the 3rd row at KC03 crazy show.  I remember the water was getting up to my knees before they stopped playing, but that was a long time ago and the water may have gotten deeper over the years (at least when I retell it).  My wife was also 8 months pregnant with our 1st kid so pretty memorable show for me.  But yes same here I got the 2003 AP from the sale as I was stupid and did not pick up any posters at my early shows.  I picked up a regular ed off someone on expressobeans for $100 a few years ago because it had some water damage on the corners which I kind of liked.

Question did you get the 2nd run or the 1st?  I got the 1st run and curious if they have more than 1 of these I assume not.  I am just glad the price wasn't $450, I have seen regular ed of this print go for $200-250 on ebay over the years.

    FAQs

    When is this happening?
The sale begins Wednesday, March 27th around 10AMish PST, and wraps up end-of-day on March 29th.

    Are these reprints?
No. We have carefully maintained a stored archive of each and every poster we've ever created.

Are you offering all of the posters in your archive?
No. Only posters from shows that occurred in March and July will be for sale. And not every poster we’ve ever designed will be available. If all goes well, we will do the same in April and on and on.

How many are available of each poster for sale?
    At least one.

Will they be at original pricing?
No. Pricing will be at or near market value.

Should I get in touch to complain or haggle on the price?
No. Go outside and enjoy your day. So will we.

    Are these legit?
Heck yes! The posters are all from the original run/edition. After looking around at what's available in the market, we see a lot of fake signatures. This is a chance to buy directly from the actual artists and guarantee authenticity.

What kind of condition are the posters in?
Everything available is in mint or near mint condition (unless otherwise noted). Keep in mind that even though the posters have been carefully stored away and treated with the utmost care, they are all hand crafted items. Because of this, they are often a little bit unique in and of themselves and a little different from each other. We find that to be a beautiful thing. We've worked with dozens of different printers over the years, and each has their own style, ink and paper stock. That said, we won't put anything up for sale with dog-ears, creases, marks etc... and if we do, we will make a note of it. Otherwise assume it's in M/NM condition.

How long will the sale last?
The sale will last for 3 days or until the posters are all sold out. All of the posters will be made available on the 1st day of the sale around 10am.

Will all the posters be put up for sale at the same time?
    Yes.

Does this archive sale include t-shirts?
No. Right now this is poster specific, but we will be releasing more older tee designs over the next few months.

    How will the posters ship?
All will ship fully insured in a sturdy tube via whatever premium shipping service you chose.

How long until my poster ships?
Please allow 2-3 weeks before orders are processed and begin to ship. You will receive a shipping notice when your poster is packaged and ready to ship.

    Will you offer returns?
No, we will not. All sales are final. All shipments will be fully insured against any damage that could occur during shipping,

Can I cancel an order I placed by accident or that I changed my mind on?
No. Because this is a short sales window of 3 days, if you buy it, it's yours. To ask us to cancel after isn't fair to us or other people who are interested in the poster. Please make up your mind before you buy.

Will you ship outside of the US and Canada?
No, we will only be shipping archive prints to the US and Canada at this time.

    Can I combine multiple orders?
No. In an effort to expedite orders and stay organized, individual orders will be shipped as such.

    See ya Wednesday!

Hoping for one of the gigaton cover posters. I barely missed it back in 2020 and I’ve only seen one since that was way too expensive

I think that 2003 Japan poster is underrated.  You can get it for a reasonable price. Elvis and banana colored ink. Yes please.

I agree - I’ve always loved the Ames Japan 03.  Between that and Brisbane 03, they’re two of my favourites from that year.

Man this is going to be hard to resist... they will most likely have my only missing show, 98 KC.  It will expensive but not as expensive as most.  I was able to pick up a the 03 KC AP at the Feb Ames sale which was my other missing show at a reasonable-ish amount so maybe.

I'm sure Ames will be more, but Sutton still has some on his site for $40.

Honestly shocked that someone paid $5000 for the 98 St. Louis.  It's a great print but 5K?
