^Isn't all of the above preferences from so many different songs just more confirmation why we all ❤️ this damn band so much...and in 10 songs it's all over for awhile again😭
I mean…how can someone call Speed of Sound, Future Days, Just Breathe, The End “best song ever!” Like…I am all the way on the other side of the spectrum 😂
I like "Speed of Sound." With respect to "Future Days" and "Just Breathe," a lot of people really like love songs. And a lot of people don't really like loud songs. It's why almost every hard rock band's biggest hit is a ballad. They have broader appeal than the heavier songs.
Pearl Jam has amazing ballads…those ain’t tho.
Again, you don't think so, and I don't think so, but there are a lot of people out there with very anodyne taste. I mentioned this before, but a friend who knows how much I love Pearl Jam but who isn't familiar with much beyond the early hits emailed me out of the blue several weeks ago about how blown away she was by this song she heard that turned out to be Pearl Jam. That song was "Just Breathe." She's a 47-year-old classically trained pianist in a 20-year marriage, and that song spoke to her.
And that was the original point someone else made 😂😂😂

I couldn’t be any farther away from that end of the spectrum. By the way I am a 55-year old woman who’s been in a 24-year marriage. So let’s not box people up by their demographics 🤣

C'mon man it's one of the most played and covered songs of all-time and it is amazing, of course people know what it's meaning is!

Not boxing people up, just trying to explain why that song might have a special appeal to this particular person, with a particular musical training and a particular romantic history. She also recently survived cancer, so the song's themes further resonate with her.

After Crown they have to play straight fire and do Go -> Lukin -> NFY -> Grievance -> Leash. Ed would then pass out on stage so the band could go into instrumental Brother before Ed rises again to sing Alive.
    It's a hopeless situation...
