I have attempted to teach myself this song several times now and get to frustrated each and give up. I'm at the point where I really want to learn it but I just can't get it.
I've been trying to teach myself to play for a few years now but I go in spurts and I'm not that great but I have the basics (I think). Anyway, everyone has said this is a simple song and I just can't get it.
I trust that the Given to Wail tab for this is accurate but I've also heard that there are possibly alternate ways. I like the LATG version Ed does with Mark. Was Mark playing power cords? I like the slower version on the vid....anyone know the power cords he's using for it?
Damn it I hate it when people make this crap look easy.
Any help / suggestions / tips would be appriciated. Thanks.

CHord Progression is
E A E B, I think
MArk is just arpeggiating those chords. It's a little easier to cleanly fret teh B chord as a bar on 7th fret, unlees you are adept at frettint "A" form chords on teh lower frets.
It is a simple elelgant song in 3/4 time, which is best thought of as waltz. Tihs gives it a lazyu feel.
Play it slowly and elegantly , rather than attacking it.
