Recordcovers having shiny/metallic/reflective paper

Anyone have any good examples of albums being printed on metallic foil stock? So the photo/art is being a bit reflective and having a metallic sheen. Not looking for e.g. KISS Double Platinum that is just a silver mirror (mylar) cover.

Here are two examples (not that noticeable in the pictures).

Anyone know of any else? I KNOW I have one in my collection, but can't remember which one and can't find it. Or wait, is it the Into the Wild score? EDIT: Yes it is. Adding it.

Not sure if this meets your criteria, or if this is like the Kiss album you describe, but Jon Spencer Blues Explosion has one. (Sorry for the bad photo from the internet)

Cream Wheels of Fire.  I have an early pressing which is very shiny foil looking (doesn't play great but I love the cover) and a later pressing (which is more matte but plays well):
    Primary

Willie Nelson's Christmas album, Pretty Paper is very foil looking:

You guys might get a kick out of the Steve Hoffman music forum sites where there have been literally hundreds of threads that go something like, "Album covers with pictures of armadillos", and "Album covers featuring people wearing red socks", and "Album covers featuring left handed kazoo players wearing kimonos", and on and on and on and on and on... god, it makes me sick sometimes.
But a shiny foil covers thread, yeah, I can live with this one.  They really are kinda cool!

  • Mogwai’s Happy Songs for Happy People early pressings are on foil card stock. Very reflective. idK if the current pressing is like that though.

Haha!  Good one, Lou!  There actually was a thread there called "Album covers with armadillos".  It wasn't a very long thread, lol.
