Sirens in Austin for a couple of anxious lovers

This is probably too late for this request, but here it goes.

I've been with my partner David for 9 years. We met at a Pentagram concert and have traveled the world for concerts for mostly heavy metal bands, but also Pearl Jam. He goes online often to find me rare memorabilia for anniversaries and birthdays. He didn't really know PJs music beyond Ten, but Sirens and Just Breathe became a regular part of our drunken post concert decompression dance parties at home. We both have anxiety, and this song gives us a bit of catharsis.

When the 2023 tour was announced, I told him I was planning to do all 9 dates. He graciously stayed home in San Francisco with our cats Dio and Lemmy. He will join me in Austin though.

It's been a couple weeks, but it's a long time to be without your person. The jokes, the experiences, the little moments... I'm having the time of my life, but there were so many times I wished he was there to exchange telepathic glances with. I'm so excited to see him!

those two look like trouble....we always laugh at how our two cats follow each other around like a cat parade. It's like one decides he's going on patrol and the other joins in.

That's so cute! 

Yeah, they can be trouble,  but mostly they are spoiled and want attention all the time. They were born a few days before the pandemic shelter in place order, so they've only known a world with humans constantly around.

Dio is especially bossy. The first night we got them, he was not shy about exploring his new home. "ALL MINE!" He then slept belly up between me and David. "These bitches ain't gonna do shit!"

We had to ban our cats from sleeping with us. We have a bengal and he will/would scream his fucking head off at 3am every night. I mean every.fucking.night.

It's like he was bored and he wanted us to get up.
