Where should the chorus go?

Where in a line should this effect go?
standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

traditionally, after distortions/tone shaping and before delays i think. but again, different orders will produce different effects.

I usually put them behind the symphony. :)
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Yup. I have mine after my 2 distortion pedals, wah v-10, and phase shifter, but before my flanger and both delay pedals.

I used to have a Westfield acoustic amp until it blew up on me. It had in-built stereo chorus and gave me no choice as to where I wanted it!
But now, I would elect to put the chorus after the distortion, phaser and flanger, but before the wah.

By at the front, you mean nearest the guitar or the amp? Maybe we're thinking in different directions! I mean, nearest the amp.

I know this is a slightly tangential question, but what sort of wah do you use?
    I use a Vox.

    Oooh ,,,,ice

We're starting our journey outta timbuktu, here tomorrow, across the desert for 2 days to get to bamako to try to get back home. Oh to be riding on the back of a camel or hunched over in the back of a pickup truck, hiding from the rebels here, with a cool one.

    Ooooh,,, ice

I HAVE tried the "african beer cooler" It WORKS. If you can find a beer. You wrap the can in wet paper or rags and leave it on top of the car while your driving, and the evaporation cools it.

Uhh, Try twice! Out in the desert. Lost guitars and my "dummy wallet" . Have our lives though.
There is a certain weirdness with getting robbed by guys on camels!
It's not a great place to be here for us pale folk at this point. Actually for anybody.
Timbuktu is friendly and cool, and the people are wonderful,,but there are roving bandits in the desert. Also occasional kidnappings.
There's also a lot of "civil war" going on between tribes that has move down to where we are. So when you leave town, all is at risk.
We really have to keep ann ( rob's niece) close at hand.
So tomorrow is our trip to the main city. It takes 2 days to go 300 miles.

Well, and Interesting Christmas vacation, anyway!

    And no Pina Coladas!

Actually it seems to be a normal trip for me anymore!
We have some really hospitable and good people "plotting" with us right now.
If it works right tomorrow, we'll be in a whole group of trucks (yeah, trucks,,,,,maybe big pieces of metal with an engine!)

It's not like everyone out there is bad! But it is a weird time to be travelling here now.
The trade off is that the vastness of the desert and the stars at night are like nothing I've ever seen,

and the people have about nothing, but would share what they do have with you in a second.

Why is it that the less people have, the more they're willing to share? I can only imagine the stars... that must be so beautiful...

I think part of the reason, is that giving is a gift for a lot of people, and they feel richer by sharing and helping than by amassing a fortune. The culture of "this is mine" isn't as prevalent. Although there are, of course, the power moguls here. Part of the reason we're in this situation this week!

Far out in the desert, there is nothing and the sky is massive. Ever see the star scene in Lawrence of Arabia?

Your neck of the woods is beautiful, too. I love Glacier and all those areas up there! into Canada

I agree I love Glacier. Going to the Sun Road at night is really cool.
