Saw the two St Paul shows and night 1 in Chicago. No offense to Inhaler... maybe a blander version of the Strokes? But I was so impressed with Deep Sea Diver. Purchased their album, Impossible Weight... Really enjoyed them live, and a couple spins of the CD has me really impressed.
My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses and Supersuckers might be the only PJ openers I've seen that impressed me enough to go out and get their stuff... But I'm adding Deep Sea Diver to the list.

I knew their big song "Impossible Weight" going into the show because I look up the opening acts. That being said, they were really good live as an opening act. And I've listened to various versions of Impossible Weight since seeing them in St. Paul.

Used copy of their first independent record up for $50 Canadian. Relatively rare these days.
