Drum Machine question

Does anyone know of a good program for programing drum patterns on a PC?? Ideally it would be one that could incorporate taping the keys of a keyboard (PC kind not musical) in time with a metronome as it will provide a better feel, as im not a drummer.
I just need it so i can export wav. files to my Cakewalk Guitar tracks II. I'm currently not in a band but want to record some ideas on my own, so it doesn't have to be the most technical piece of software.
Any idea would be grand
