what a difference string gauge makes.

so for my birthday a few weeks ago my girlfriend surprised me with a lovely new 72 deluxe telecaster. Now it was lovely straight outta the box (although it needed a bit of tweaking of the intonation) well as most of you will know fender always seem to ship there guitars with guage 9 strings on well after a couple of weeks of playing her as is today i decided to strip her right down and set her up for 11`s and oh my god the change is unbelieveable the sustain and tone is now soo much more impressive. I guess having through body stringing helps alot as well. Im now even more happy with her.
