hi wondering if anyone here can help me with a problem.
i have a brunswick electro acoustic with a factory fitted pre-amp and under saddle piezo pickup. The problem im having is that the low "E" string is exceptionally louder than all the others. The guitars set up ok as it plays fine acoustically (not plugged in). Ive had the saddle filed abit as someone suggested it may be too tight in the saddle hole at the "E" but this has made no difference whatsoever. Tried moving the pickup further down the cavity (towards the higher strings) but this also hasnt made any difference.
Anyone out there got any ideas? Im starting to think it could be the actual pickup itself. maybe one of the magnets in it or something.
Anyone got any idea if this could be the problem? Anyone recomend any replacement pick ups that i could resolder in the wiring for the pre amp?
any help appreciated
I'm not saying stupidity should be a capital offence, but what say we take the safety labels off everything and let nature run it's course?
