Yup, Dave Matthews did an acoustic solo version of Just Breath in encore 1 spot at tonight's show at the Gorge Amp

    I totally get why people like this song. It’s just not one of my favorites. No disrespect to those of you who love it though. 

    But you all have full permission to make fun of me for liking Sirens.

    My wife and my world collided:) Cool that he covered it- I always felt they didn’t like each other. I hated DMB in high school, but I saw them last Saturday in Irvine, CA and they were phenomenal.

    Breaks my heart.

    My ex, who I am still not over, and will probably never be over, is twice as fanatical about DMB as I am about PJ.

    She's been to those Gorge shows, and always raved about the place.

    We would have lost our shit when we saw this.

    If Ed plays Lover Lay Down in Indiana while I'm there, I'm giving up lol.

    At least Dave has good taste, I guess?

    nah. they played together at a private function (birthday? Wedding?) for the dude who owned liquid audio. Only one picture exists. 

    But they have so many friends in common. I'm sure they cross paths more than we know, they just haven't on stage. yet.

    …never met one person here ever listening to Dave Matthews. Never. Only heard one person mention him, and it was because of that person having studied in the US.

    That was a really touching version! Dave is so good live.  We see him every summer. We were lucky enough to get Warren Haynes for 3 or 4 songs when we saw him in July.  He totally stole the show.  😁

    Interesting. While I love both of those songs, Just Breathe will be one of their all time greats. To each their own though.
