Seems like every couple of days another music legend passes away. He had some great songs and a tremendous fan base. RIP Jimmy

I saw the news late last night and once again, felt just really sad. I can't say I've ever been a huge fan, but he seemed like a really good guy and anyone who can make that many people that happy has to be pretty special.

Knowing how my step daughter and her dad would be crushed today when they got up to the news, I was really sad. I used to know a Buffett song or two but couldn't remember the words or chords even, so I played a few somber Paul Westerberg songs to honor the man. I suppose something more sunny would have been more appropriate, but I was feeling anything but sunny.

Been to many shows. Got this banner at a show over 20 years ago and it’s been hanging in my garage ever since. You will be missed dearly. RIP and thanks for all the good times at ur shows. 🏝🎸🍔🍸🧂🦜🐅🐬🏝

Can’t say I have heard his stuff. I think Margaritaville at some Greek function I got dragged to back in the 90s. Something about salt, the GD salt. Will have to check it out finally.

I am a fan as well of his music. Whether you liked his music or not he left a legacy. Saw him 5 times live and always put on a great show. Heck his music drove my husband and I to check out Key West back in 2006 and keep going back. I am loss for words losing an icon. Sail on JB.
