Venue Bag Policies - 2023
Once again it is time to look at the bag policies for this tour. My fellow purse carrying fans can relate to the frustration of having to cram all of our stuff into a small bag. Here are policies for the upcoming tour:
Xcel Energy Center
For enhanced safety and speed of entry, we encourage guests not to bring bags of any kind. Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed.
Clutch, wristlet and wallets sized 4" x 6" x 1.5" or smaller are
allowed and subject to inspection. Medical bags and diaper bags are
allowed, however, they are required to pass through x-ray screening
prior to entry. Guests with medical and diaper bags must enter the arena
at Gate 1. Please allow extra time for entry.
United Center
Guests may enter the arena with a small purse or personal bag up to
10"x6"x2" in size. Backpacks are prohibited. Limited exceptions for
medical or diaper bags will be allowed. Bag check is available in United
Center Parking Lot J on Wood St. and Monroe St.
Ruoff Music Center
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, we have implemented the
following bag policy: We will allow CLEAR plastic/vinyl tote bags no
larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”). The small
clutch bags do not need to be clear. No other bags of any type will be
allowed.
Dickies Area
Approved bags: Bags are not to exceed 12″x6″x12″. A clear tote, small purse, small fashion backpack, small clutch, plastic storage bags and drawstring bags are acceptable if they don’t exceed the size of 12″x6″x12″.
Non-approved bags: Bags that exceed 12″x6″x12″ including but not limited to a backpack, oversized purse, oversized tote bag, suitcase/luggage, messenger/laptop bag, duffel bag, and cooler. These non-approved bags will not be permitted inside the arena.
Moody Center
A CLEAR BAG POLICY is in effect to enhance existing security measures and expedite venue entry at Moody Center.
Approved bags include:
Bags that are clear plastic and do not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″
One-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags
Non-clear clutch bags or wallets must not exceed 5″ x 9″ x 1.5”
Prohibited bags include:
Any and all bags that do not meet the criteria above including items such as grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, duffle bags, diaper* bags, camera/binocular cases, and any other bags that arena event staff deem to not meet the clear bag policy.
*Items normally carried in a diaper bag must be placed into a clear plastic bag for entry.
Approved bags include:
