anyone on here ever suffered from them? its something like a damaged tendon sheath. Ive had one for a while on my left hand index finger right in the middle knuckle. Its really starting to annoy me. It was quite painfull for a while then i went to see the doctor about it and he said there aint much that can be done about it. It kinda went away for a while but now its come back and i cant play my strat (or any guitar for that matter) for more than a few mins without it really starting to hurt. This is getting kinda sucky.
I'm not saying stupidity should be a capital offence, but what say we take the safety labels off everything and let nature run it's course?

I think I had something like that once, but on the top part of my hand, near my wrist. It started out as a bug bite that I scratched the hell out of, aggravating the nerve until it formed a ton of scar tissue around it. I saw a dermatologist about it and after a few visits and a few shots of steroids directly into the area it went away. You may want to see a different doctor, or at least a specialist, dermatologist or orthopedist.
