St. Paul, MN - Where to hang pre/post show?

Three buddies and I are headed to the show on 9/2. We fly in midday Saturday and fly out Sunday morning. None of us have ever been to St. Paul. Looking for bar/restaurant recommendations for pre and post show. Whatcha got?

New Amsterdam is the official ten club pre party. Other wise most people will go to 7th street. Liffy/Tom Reids/McGovern's. We will be getting food/pizza at Cossetta's then heading to the Liffy.
