I'll be in Austin for the Pearl Jam shows. I usually tour cities through their coffee shops which I plan to do. It looks like Austin has a strong independent bookstore showing, and a lot of museums. I expect it to be hot, so I'll probably be in those places. I'm very excited about the independent bookstores. What gems!

Any other places I should visit . . . inside places?

I would ask for restaurant recommendations, but I'm on a restricted diet.

    Bump. Have fun. Never been there but hear that live music is everywhere.
