"Into the Wild," about Chris McCandless is a movie with a soundtrack written by Eddie Vedder. It chronicles Chris's travels across the United States and Mexico. He was a man searching for himself and how he wanted to live. Not what his Father or family wanted him to do. Chris was a graduate of Emory and I work there and I think of him often. I wish I had his courage to venture out into the wild. Eddie's soundtrack is right on the mark as Chris ventures forward. If you have not listened to the soundtrack you are really missing some of Eddie's best work.
