Probably doesn't matter... I'm not waiting in a line for 6 hours. Sorry to complain... I know it's an old worn out topic. My wife and I were in St. Louis last September and the merch thing had completely gone off the rails. Can't justify waiting in a line for 6 hours.

You don't actually have to wait in line for 6 hours to get posters.

Those lines outside the arenas during the day are nuts. I recall at the Nashville show last year, people were just baking themselves in the sun for hours on end to get posters and show shirts. Of course, you usually can get in line about an hour before doors open and rush to an inside merch stand and get whatever you want. Though it's mayhem lol.

I was one of those nuts in the Nashville line. It sucked. The stand was over an hour late opening. I still prefer buying my merch outside and being able to go back and put it in the car/hotel. That way I don't have to deal with it and carry it around during the show.

I skipped the 6-hour line and bought the Nashville AP from Klausen the next day. Signed and numbered by the artist -- took about 30 seconds lol. I really only collect APs anyway after 98. I did trade a GA ticket to someone who waited in that line for a shirt.
Love the McFarlane idea, especially since he recently collaborated with them on the Do The Evolution music video. I haven't watched it yet, but looking forward to checking it out. I forgot about that Spawn poster above.
A Kozik homage would be cool for the Austin Shows. Something paying tribute to the Armadillo World Headquarters might be interesting for Austin too. I'd like to see the Ames brothers do something for the Indy show - I think they could do something nice with the folksy midwestern vibe there.
I'm going to the Indy and Austin shows, so those are the one's I'm shooting for. Taking my wife to her first show on the Austin leg. She's from there and I'm getting excited to take her along.

For the 4 cities they are playing back to back shows, I'm hoping these would be diptych posters, done by 2 artists. Would be pretty cool to see.
