ISO Ride from FW to AUS

I am flying into DFW from Colorado on the 12th and am trying to figure out how to get down to AUS for those shows. Wondering if anyone here is renting a car or wants to carpool if I rent a car? Thanks in advance 
2016: Telluride, CO
2018: Fenway 1
2021: Sea.Hear.Now
2022: San Diego, MSG, Camden 
2023: Ft. Worth 1, Ft. Worth 2, Austin 1, Austin 2

    If you rent a car I'll split it with ya, just give ya some cash that day. I'd much prefer to just hop in a car and take a little drive than deal with the airport again for such a quick flight. When would you be heading to Austin, Saturday? If you're interested let me know!

    I'm driving but FYI looks like can take Amtrak for $24.

    That's not a bad idea, I'm looking more for a little 3 hr road trip. I'm just going to be traveling so much in Sep that I'll be at multiple airports, would like to avoid them when I can. I looked at the times for AMTRAK as well, looks like it gets to Austin around 6/7 that evening. I prefer to get there earlier, have some friends I'm staying with so more time to hang out and catch up the better... Thank you for the heads up though!

    I'm also looking to go from Ft. Worth to Austin on the 16th. I'd be up be up for a car share or a group train trip.

    I've been looking and honestly it looks like Turo has the cheapest pricing compared to traditional car rental spots. I have my eyes on a couple flights and think I will be pulling the trigger this week. When I get a rental I will update this thread, or if someone else gets one let us know! I think we can manage to figure something out.

    Thanks for checking. I have been out of the country the past week. Once I am back home on Tuesday I will have more time to look into this as well.
