Chicago 9/5 for our Angel
My fiancé and I always shared a love for Pearl Jam. I think that brought us together. We loved going to shows together. It was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for the lottery results! It was so much more than a show to us. Pearl Jam helped us through those dark times, they also made us smile a little more during the happy times. On 1/1/2020 Ryan was called to the heavens. The world lost an amazing man, father and friend that day. We played Man of the hour at his funeral as he wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I was in a dark and eerie time after I lost Ryan. It took my a long time to be able to listen to Pearl Jam again as it tore me apart, the memories were just so strong. But one song that brought that spark back was Hold On. It made me dig down deep and find the strength to carry on. I know Ryan will be there with us and It would mean a great deal if we could hear this. I can’t thank the guys enough for all that you’ve done to guide me through the darkest of times. Complete strangers but yet have done so much.
I look forward to our night together 💜🎶
