ok.

girlfriiend plays harmonica. may have seen my post earlier.

her birthday is coming up, she is by no means an expert, but shes taught her self and can play along if the key calls for it, key of C. does real well with neil young! ha, obviously. but its quite sexy...off the topic but..

ok so, i bought her a whole set of harmonicas fairly cheap for 20 bucks.

now harmonica players, is it more common to get minor keys, or major key harmonicas and rock out with them?

does D minor harmonica, transalte to D pentatonic on the guitar ? or will having a full set of major harmonicas be plenty..

anyone understand my question?

im not to sure right now but i think the pentatonic (blues) scale is minor. i dont play harmonica but the pentatonic one should have five notes out of the minor scale while the minor one should have all 8. i sure someone here will know for sure.

edit: also dont remember for sure but i think major and minor scales have the same notes but start on either the major or minor note and goes from there.
