Rest easy CORMAC McCARTHY”, Jeff wrote on his Instagram. “Easily my favorite author over the last twenty years. Blood Meridian and Suttree are two of the most beautifully dark words ever written…AND, his last two books proof that an artist can do their best work late in life. In between, All the Pretty Horses and the Border Trilogy, No Country for Old Men and the Road!!! And he did it all outside of the world of celebrity…no red carpets, no book readings or interviews (except for that weird Oprah interview), just the work. The mold is broken. Thank you.

Two grammar errors while eulogizing an author  =)

RIP.  What a tremendous author.  Blood Meridian was a really tough read for me but I thought it was amazing.  The Road made me cry like a baby at the end.  Outer Dark and No Country For Old Men both amazing as well.
