Wayside ALMOST got to open for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

! woa...

long story, short...

black rebel motorcycle club just booked a date for july 30th at the fineline...we had that date "held" for locl bands, pending word from a "national" act...well obvisouyl we didnt get it becuase black rebel motorcycle club took it...(big mistake fineline!! haha totally kidding) well anyways, she just informed me (she who books) that she wanted to have us open for them...

but they are gonna bring their own band...

no biggie, not even that close, maybe not even that cool...

but for me, us WAYSIDE...so cool!!!! maybe another time...

i just think its great that she thought about putting us on that bill..

    Maybe you'll get an honorable mention for giving up your slot. That would have been way cool though.

    BRMC is a great band... Punk Song is my favorite of theirs.

    I still remember the first time I heard it... great tune.

    BRMC does rock, they were kind and sent alot of promo stuff to our little high school radio station that i was involved with. Sucks that you dont get to open, but keep your head up your band still rocks
