What if I DON'T claim my tickets?

I was fortunate to get tickets to both Chicago shows, but looks like I'll be unable to go.  If I don't click the Ticketmaster email and "claim" the tickets, will they simply be returned with a refund?

Secondly, if I do have to take the tickets - as a Ten Club Member - what's the best way to sell the tickets without getting in trouble?

Thanks!

I think they will simply go unused. TM will probably try to contact you a few times, but I wouldn't expect a refund. Best to claim and try to sell them. Or try to sell them without claiming and forward the claim email to your buyer.

Correct. You paid for them. If you can't go, you'll be able to sell them on Fan2Fan and get your money back a week or two after the show. I highly recommend just accepting the tickets and getting rid of them from that point.

To sell them safely, accept the tickets, then locate them in your ticketmaster account. There should be a sell button. Follow whatever steps are involved and you'll be good to go.

Yeah they're not going to automatically refund you for not claiming or using the tickets.  Selling and transferring is your best bet as JimmyV stated.

Chicago doesn't do f2f so you can try to sell them on here and transfer the tickets to them at cost or below.

The Illinois tickets can be transferred directly to another person. Last year, I couldn't attend the rescheduled Denver show, and similar situation. I read through the threads on this board, found a person who I see a lot of posts from who was looking to go, and sold them to him at face value using paypal. I trusted he wasn't going to flip them, which he didn't, and just wanted to help out a fellow superfan.

@hihobibo is a great dude.  Due to his  generosity my family made some life long memories.  First time I could actually see PJ with my wife!  I owe you a few beers.  Face value for awesome seats.  That was incredible.  Thanks again.
