Anyone remember this?

The biggest joke of all time. They were allowed to pay it off in useless TM credits. I remember having like $100 in credits and was able to get like $1-5 off on things like shipping and print at home. Which of course were useless when you were rushing to check out on big sales times. Man they had good lawyers. I hate them so much.

I was awarded 17x. Didnt get a penny of redemption as “no upcoming shows are eligible for credit redemption” unless you wanted to see seven mary three 180 miles away

I remember getting show credits for bands I had never heard, had no interest in seeing, of or ones that weren’t playing in my area. I never used a single credit that I was awarded.0

I think I used the $2.25 per order credit (I think that was the amount) maybe twice. Such a joke. This weekend we rock Portland0
-
Ha ha, yeah it was a joke. Couldn't even use it towards the fees. Was just useless.0

Biggest bullshit payout in the history of settlements. I think I used 1 or 2 credits - everything else I tried was never eligible.
I try to avoid Ticketmaster as much as I can now.Mansfield 06.28.2008 | Boston 05.17.2010 | Boston 06.19.2011 EV solo | Wrigley Field 07.19.2013 | Worcester 10.15.2013 | Worcester 10.16.2013 | Hartford 10.25.2013

I remember getting a bunch of credits too. All for shows I had no interest in attending."I got memories, I got shit"0

and in 50 years or so...we will all probably be dead and TM will still be fucking around0
-
This is most class action lawsuits.. biggest winners are usually the lawyers.

"As a result, our band, which is concerned about keeping the price of its tickets low, will almost always be in conflict with Ticketmaster which has every incentive to try to find ways to in- crease the price of the ticket itself."

I never used a single credit I had, which is exactly what they wanted to happen.

It’s simple
mob, mafia runs this shit
how are you gonna take that down 🤣🤣0 -
I had about $75 in credits that were never used, due to they couldnt be used on tickets I wanted, and didnt want the tickets for other shows. And they were all like $1, $1.25 and had to be added separately, I think. What a joke.Turn this anger into
Nuclear fission0 -
The restrictions on the $-off coupons was tough. no mlb or events presented by AEG. And you could only use two coupons per order. so you'd save $6 off an order with $17 in fees? 'll just go to the box office. they would have been better off giving out the $35 as one code and letting people get a real discount on one show.
And the live nation ticket vouchers was an absolute joke! i only got to redeem one show. they claimed limited inventory, but then sell $40 lawn seats for $15 on groupon.0 -
Yep saw nothing all the redemption opportunity was garbage. Nice to have politicians watching your ass for some campaign money0
-
Did the lawyers take their fee in vouchers too?0
