Chicago shows - Which was your priority?

I didn't score any Chicago tickets and I was wondering which were your priorities.
After tickets were assign I did this table based on the information I was through the forum. Maybe you are alredy in the list but I preferred to obfuscate the nickname. So can you help me to fill this:

- Chicago N1 / Chicago N2
- Priority #
- GA & Reserved / Reserved / Side & Rear
- Section and Row

Right click on the picture and open in a new tab/windows to see it.

Thanks.

Chicago N1 - 1st Priority (all 3 selected, got Reserved Floor)
  • steven87steven87 Posts: 1,441
My first priority was Chicago N1. I selected all three options- GA/Reserved, Reserved, and Side/Rear. Didn’t get anything.

My wife’s first priority was Chicago N2. She also selected all three options and also didn’t get anything.

Chicago 2 was my second priority and Chicago 1 was my third priority. Asked for GA/Res or Res for both. Did not go with side/rear.

Won seats for Chicago 2, lost Chicago 1.

Same for us. It is what it is but it’s certainly disappointing to see some getting both nights and others getting completely shut out. I’m pretty new to the system and perhaps I don’t completely understand it so I guess I can’t bitch too much. StubHub it is, I guess.

I think you need to factor in 10C numbers too.

Has anyone with a 700XXX won Chicago RES yet? Night 2 specifically since that seems to be the one that made it past first picks for sure.

I have a number in the 700s and haven’t won Chicago yet.

had night 1 as first and only priority.

Chicago 1 Reserved Seats Sec 1 seat 1&2
Chicago 2 Reserved Seats Sec 3 seat 6&7

These was the only choice/pick that I made, and scored.

Morning Update: just received an email saying that they messed up with the seats allocation and that I would received new seats allocation today, the 26th…

    cheers,

This is the Chicago thread, but whatever.  Priority only factored in if you picked more than 1 show.

This is what I don’t get. I had Chi 2 listed as my first priority with reserves seats and Chi 1 listed as priority 2 with pit/reserves and I didn’t get anything.

How did your Chicago 2 priority 2 beat my Chicago 2 priority 1?

That is where I'm lost also.........this is never how it worked in the past and there was no communication that this part of the lottery had changed to my knowledge.

    It should not have.

There is a chance you will still get tickets as we wait to see what happens today. There is also a chance that your pick got overlooked for "reasons" and you got screwed.

People that had lawn for Indy as a first pick are unfulfilled and there is no way people are losing lawn as a first pick. There is some hope today hope you are able to score.

Yea I am complaining but I didn’t have rear selected.

You have some actual reasons to be pissed.

I haven't seen anyone saying they have behind the stage assigned yet, so I haven't lost all hope. I am hoping my status of process complete unfulfilled is just what they did when they realized everything went snafu.

The way it used to work in past lotteries was for every given show, they would take all of the available tickets and fulfill the first priorities first, then if any tickets were left over move on to the second priorities, then the third priorities, etc. It appears to have been conducted differently this time around.

That’s interesting. My wife is a 700XXX number and did not win GA/Reserved, Reserved, or Side/Rear for Chicago N2 as her first priority. Not sure why membership number would matter (it shouldn’t), unless they were awarding reserved tickets in order of membership number and then stopped the process once they realized the system error.

Idk how TM would even know membership numbers.

Night 2- 2nd Priority - all sections selected - got reserved

I think there is a chance this is right.

It shouldn't matter overall what your number is vs priority. It could matter however  when sending out emails from best seats to worst seats which is seemed like they were doing yesterday and of course the worst seats are higher numbers.

Happy for you. Just salty my priority 1 lost to your priority 2.
