Anyone have any recommendations on where to stay in Austin? Looked at 6th Street area or Downtown proper. Not sure about Rainey with what they got goin on. Just lookin for a place close to some music, good fun, and maybe a bar or two ....

we’re staying at Laquinta Inn Austin Capital. The reviews are pretty bad, but it’s 1/3 of the price of other hotels in the area and it’s within walking distance of the venue and all the bars.

stay south or east side but not along 35. South congress has a few boutique cool spots, and there’s a ton of good options around 2nd. The residence inn or courtyard around 4th are cool also. I’d do those if the price is ok. Stay off 6th unless you’re west it’s a shitshow over there. Rainey is ok if you’re an even bro. (Don’t do rainey)

It’s a dump. Stayed there a few years ago. Dated. But yes, good location.

Thanks….that’s what I was thinking but the price is good. Just over a hundred bucks a night when the surrounding hotels are 2-3 times that. Only there to sleep.

not disagreeing as to seating assignments, but whether or not someone got GA/Pit doesn't depend on seniority correct? That's the lottery portion of the sale, you either scored GA or you didn't, membership doesn't factor into that aspect.
Anyone gets Austin night 1 with their second priority? It appears to be the only show I missed of my six selections.

Got Moxy as well a few weeks ago, great value for a clean/new spot. If you've never stayed at a Moxy though, the rooms are the size of a closet.

Not to stoke the fire.... but With the seat locations being posted, if seems like a lot of the best seats that used to be held for the 10C have probably been held back for PJ Premium, huh?
I mean I haven't seen anyone post the low row seats in 106, 107, 120, and 119... Those are the best seats in the house really....
I mean, it's PJ's show and they can do what they want, but the comments from some others about all seats in the house from GA to the rafters being the same price, but then also withholding 10% of tickets to basically auction is a bit hypocritical.... The fixed ticket price should be offsetting the lack of premium sales... Seems kind of double dipping / having it both ways.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Ha, stayed at one in AZ for innings fest and we loved it. Our room was great. It must vary a bit. Hopefully this is a good one.

I’m def happy to be in the building but I’m a bit rubbed about paying the same price and being in the rafters.
