Ticket Lottery Strategy Question

I really want GA but Im happy with reserved too because I have a low 10c number.

If I pick the GA or reserved option and someone picks reserved only option, do they have a higher probably of winning than me or visa versa since I have two options vs one and therefore a larger number of chances to win?

thanks in advance.

I don't think so. I would think all GA + reserved who don't get GA will go into the 'reserve' ticket pull along with everyone who put reserve only. At the same time, it seems like you might as well put in for both GA and Res and Reserved just to be safe (apparently there was a response from tickets@tenclub that suggested that).

Show priority increases or decreases your chances.

Hopefully only having 1 priority helps.

It would be nice if prioritization and/or volume of requests fulfilled partially impacted quality of seating vs strictly seniority but I know it’s not possible to contemplate all these different factors in an efficient way etc.

Not sure why they did this, makes no sense. If I choos GA and lose, that's on me. Now the GA chance dropped like a rock. Just going to be random now. Yes, Im complaining, haha

After being in GA it makes sense to me. After being in GA for 2 shows that’s my preference and if I lived in the Midwest I’d probably pick 5-6 shows GA only. Reserved arena seats don’t compare.

Also you know a bunch of GA tickets will be on PJ Premium, which means less for 10C members. So GA will be harder for 2 different reasons.

It says GA/ Reserved or just Reserved Seating. That’s a win win no?

Curious how priority will be factored in.

Priority never factored in until seat/ticket assigned.

They might’ve seen most people choosing GA first, reserved second, and this way it guarantees more people who get selected in the draw to get something/anything.

It helps deter the “GA or bust” people with more than one account, and ensures more tickets sold even if those getting Reserved end up reselling on F2F.

Hopefully not like they way they picked in 2013 for Wrigley. Not going to these but it should be everyone’s name in with whatever they choose 1st, 2nd. If their name gets drawn then they get their 1st choice unless it’s gone, then 2nd. Not the way it went in 2013. It’s good to have friends with the Cubs…
