Anyone get Lindsey Flimsey Flip Flop Faloozy’s comments about POOTWH saying Liz should be shot in the face? Anyone? Yea, the choice is so very difficult.

Trump says ‘war hawk’ Liz Cheney should be fired upon in escalation of violent rhetoric against his opponents

Don't see what the big problem is other can "create outrage", if you read the full quote:

“She’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK?” the former president said at a campaign event in Glendale with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face.”

Didn't she support and defend the illegal war and the slaughter of innocent civilians in iraq?

She may well have and did but she’s also a former elected member of Congress living in a democracy being threatened by a former POS former POTUS who’s a crybaby loser. Did I wake up in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq? But let’s just dismiss it and normalize it, eh?
he is not from here. he is applying a european thought process to an inferior american problem.

Or if something else but what you linked was said, and I don't have the full context.

And her being a part of congress and having political power makes her even a worse person of supporting illegal wars and warcrimes. It doesn't matter when saying "...and see how she'll like it"

Not defending Trumps way of speaking. But come on.

Oh I know he’s from Sweden but regardless, violent rhetoric against your opponents has a way of motivating and inspiring your supporters AND your opponents’ supporters. No one should be shocked or faux raged if it boomerangs.

Was it Howard Stern who asked him at the time, and he begrudgingly approved? Something to the effect of "yeah, I guess".

Sure, he wasn't leading the charge, but he sure as shit didn't oppose it.

the only evidence we have is that he began saying he opposed it in 2015. my bet is he had stock in those defense companies that made him money, so he didn't really oppose it.

it is super easy to come out against something 12 years after the fact.

2001 was Afghanistan. The US invaded Iraq in 2003. Obama pulled troops out in 2011 after the Shrub administration signed a treaty committing the US to withdrawing their forces. Barry called his bluff with an election year looming, POOTWH praised Obama for his actions, correct, and POOTWH pulled the same stunt with Brandon and Brandon called POOTWH’s bluff.

Moral of the story? Don’t make treaties you have no intention of keeping, don’t play fucking games with US military personnel and certainly don’t start unnecessary fucking wars under false pretences. Something Sweden probably doesn’t have a lot of experience in, eh?

Because they’re trying to pretend there’s some sort of empathy in their platform by  disengenuinely referencing what the military experiences.

Donald Trump ordered the killing of people who were designated as terrorists by the United States government. His statements about Liz Cheney are hypocritical even if there is plenty of room to criticize her for her support for the "war on terror."

Being Pearl Jam fans, we all know the level of pushback on the war from famous people was very minimal. This is just revisionist history on the subject from the right.

Wait. Maybe I misunderstood. Is the "nine barrels" referencing a firing squad shooting Liz?

I tread it as him painting the picture of her having to go to war like other american kids have had to.

Yes, that's what I understood it to mean, too. It's ironic, because Trump used his family connections to avoid going to war, and it's hypocritical, because Trump himself made life-and-death war decisions from the safety of the White House.

what do you call someone that actually suggests using firing squads on their political opponents?
Wait. Maybe I misunderstood. Is the "nine barrels" referencing a firing squad shooting Liz?

I tread it as him painting the picture of her having to go to war like other american kids have had to.

fwiw, my take as well after reading the transcript of that particular exchange.
Yes, that's what I understood it to mean, too. It's ironic, because Trump used his family connections to avoid going to war, and it's hypocritical, because Trump himself made life-and-death war decisions from the safety of the White House.
No way I read it as her facing a firing squad!
Did you actually mean to say: "No way! I read it as her facing a firing squad!"?

I gather speed from you fucking with me.

My takeaway from this is that Trump is our most criminally inclined president and Grover Cleveland is our least criminally inclined president. Two separate administrations and no indictments! Way to go, Steve Cleveland!
