POOTWH supporters won’t own it either. Says a lot.
a lot of "undecided voters" are actually trump supporters with enough self awareness to at least appear to be conflicted about supporting him.
I don’t see what the difference would be about an undecided voter and a Trump supporter in this election. What makes them undecided that also do not make them trash?

Whether it’s his sexual assaults, his climate change-denial, wanting to use nukes or any of his lovely character traits. What is it that makes them undecided?
And this gets to the heart of the matter. I have come to expect some level of corruption, self dealing and poor character traits from all politicians. It is a dirty business. And that is what I hate about this process. Clinton was a good President but his morals were abhorrent. I don't really know. Voting for Harris feels like complacently mailing it in, while voting for Trump seems like supporting an evil empire. It is a lose lose situation. Nobody wins IMHO.
What are Kamala’s poor character traits? Two lines.

It is not a bit. Trust me I get it. I don't really know and I hate that my vote may come down to the lesser of two evils rather than a candidate I really endorse. That sucks.

And SNL call me for writing credits LOL

One evil actually tried to overturn the results of the last election. The other "evil" is the status quo.

This is not a serious discussion. And this is not a lesser of two evil election. Not even remotely close.

The fact that this is even an issue, from either side, is part of why I am disgusted with the entire process. Bring your passport, your license, state issued ID, you welfare card, your food stamp card, your social security card, and vote. How this process is not digital, encrypted, possibly remote, and 99% tamper proof in 2024? It just makes me scratch my head. I have three factor verification to pay my mortgage every month but we still have mail in and paper ballots? We have Apple, Microsoft, Oracle and Tesla etc. but we cannot figure out a verifiable voting process? It's no wonder we are often the laughing stock of the world.
Yes, by all means let's spend a ton of money "fixing" a system that's very secure and not broken and, in the process, make it vulnerable in new and different ways.

For a nation that is supposedly the laughingstock of the world, a lot of people seem to be willing to go through hell to come here.
How can you say it is not broken with allegations from both sides, empirical evidence and criminal convictions to the contrary? Why do you think people want to come here? I can guarantee you it is not because of our secure voting system and the representation of immigrants in the popular elections.
Earlier today you asked me which institutions he threatened and allies he is putting at risk.  You seem to have been unaware of those things.  I answered but I don't know if you agree or disagree.
You brought up some great points.

Did you ever get a response?

In 2020, sixty post-election lawsuits were filed. Fourteen were dropped, thirty-three were dismissed, seven are ongoing, five ruled against, and a grand total of one in Wisconsin ruled in favour of Trump. I'm still looking for the details of what that lawsuit claimed/won. Compare this to the highly contentious Bush v. Gore election challenges, which were contested, recounted, and accepted. You're comparing a mountain to an anthill and calling them the same because they're pointy. These topics demand more nuance than that.

Someone explain this to me, please?

The enormous gains boosted Trump Media’s value to $10.3 billion as of Tuesday’s close. That means it was briefly worth more than the implied value of X, the Elon Musk-owned social network formerly known as Twitter.

That’s despite the fact that X has about 70 million monthly active US users on iOS and Android as Truth Social, according to Similarweb data shared with CNN. That’s roughly 100 times Truth Social’s 698,000 monthly active US users.

Even Threads, Meta’s relatively new X competitor, has about 20 times the user base of Truth Social, according to Similarweb.

    ‘Head scratcher’ valuation

Trump Media’s fundamentals remain very modest for a company that is still valued at more than $8 billion.

For context, CBS owner Paramount Global, a company that Trump Media recently surpassed in market value, has brought in more than $14 billion in revenue so far this year.

But Trump Media has generated just $1.6 million of revenue this year.

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/30/business/trump-stock-truth-social/index.html

The market does things like this. Tesla is worth more than GM, Ford and Toyota combined even though it produces a small fraction of the number of cars they do. People bet on their perception of future growth. People buying DJT are making a bet that he will win the election and that this will mean good things for his company. I bought the Tesla story in 2013 and have been rewarded handsomely for it to the tune of a gain of over 9,000 percent. I'm not buying the DJT story even if he does win, but others apparently feel differently.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Every other person who lost a presidential election conceded the election. Trump still hasn't done that. He didn't just "challenge" it. He tried to steal it. He sanctioned fake electors. He asked the Georgia secretary of state to "find" exactly the number of votes he would need to win the state.

This has to be a bit.

This is odd logic to say the least. Trump was indicted because there was evidence of wrongdoing presented to the grand jury and it met the threshold. Based on the evidence that is public, do you think he did something illegal?

I get what you're saying.  But the fact remains, the lesser of two evils is less evil.  If you had to choose between a broken leg and terminal cancer, what would you choose?  Or getting to vote for someone you're not really a fan of or not getting to vote next time?
