    Former President Donald Trump said in an interview aired Sunday that he doesn’t believe he will run again in 2028 if he loses this election. 

    “No, I don’t. I think … that will be it. I don’t see that at all,” Trump said on “Full Measure” with Sharyl Attkisson when asked whether he saw himself running again in four years if he’s unsuccessful in November.  

    The former president would be 82 on Election Day in 2028.

    Not dementia. 
    It's even worse than dementia. In his mind, "Anwar"-- which is how ANWR is pronounced as a word-- and Bagram are both "Muslim names," and since he had never heard of either of these places until he was president, he has no entrenched familiarity with them and mixes them up. Dementia is a tragedy that's no one's fault. Ignorance is a character flaw. (Don't get me wrong; he's probably demented as well as ignorant.)

    Anyway, this is why the presidency is not an entry-level job. People need to dispense with the fantasy that an "outsider" who will "run the government like a business" is the dream president. No, a president should have some actual experience in government (which will include some high-ranking officers in the military). If a person without experience in government wants to run for office, they should run for Congress or for state office. But ego (and our political culture's overemphasis on the presidency) makes powerful people want to go straight for the top job.

Donald Trump, dictator wannabe, gaining support when he should have been tossed to the scrap heap of history after the most shameful end to a presidency in history. Crazy Trump supporters are getting crazier. The flags and signs just keep multiplying. It's like a disease around me. People that fly a Trump flag should be put on a domestic terror watch list. It's bonkers. 
    Your second to last sentence…I hear you, I’ve thought it, but that would be such a bad thing. Similar to what that Sheriff said about Kamala signs. 
    I considered that comparison, but I stand by it because political yard signs have always been the norm. I don't ever recall flags until Trump ran and I think it's mostly because he's turned running for president into a business. The amount of money he makes hawking MAGA and TABA (take America back again) is ridiculous. That's why he holds rallies non-stop. This is his most successful business he's ever ran and the people that don't understand that's why he's doing this are just plain dumb. If he didn't have MAGA, he'd have gone bankrupt again.
    It's a hopeless situation...
