Yeah, unless someone like Jon Stewart is moderating or running the interview, they always let him get away with BS statements because it's exhausting fact checking the lying fuck. Every sentence has a lie or exaggeration, besides the fact he talks over them. Stewart was one of the few people I have seen able to go at people like him.
