    considering all that, they are nearly tied in every poll. This country is a Sh!tshow 
    I don't get too worked about the polls.  They were tight leading into 2020 and tight leading into 2022, yet the D's won pretty convincingly, all things considered.  Remember that the polls are only as good as how they weight Ds and R's. That's what Rasmussen always gives the R's a better showing than others, because they believe that R's make up a bigger proportion of the electorate than the other polls.  And so if you put enough of these together, then average them like RCP does, well it looks tighter than it is.  

    Here's the other thing. Now these polls all seem to be done through SMS.  I answered one a month ago, and now I'm getting hit with them once per week.  They are selling and sharing data of responders.  So the polls are starting to be self-fulfilling.  People who answer them, answer more of them.  


    I agree polling in this era is very difficult, but Biden won 2020 by 40,000 votes in a handful of states,  and the dems actually lost in 2022, despite how the media portrays it. No matter how the media spins it, McCarthy is not a democrat, and his party won.

    considering what trump did on Jan six, and the relative success Biden has had coming out of the pandemic, it’s absolutely brutal these polls are nearly tied. And trumps approval rating has actually increased ten percent amongst republicans since his first indictment.

    I looked at a lot of the questions from that poll, and it just reinforces that 2/3rds of republican voters are a lost cause. And then the remaining will just vote for him knowing he’s a fraud, and I’m not sure which group is more disheartening.
