Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Isn't this the exact thing people are arguing CRT does?  It white washes history?

It's been an ongoing topic for years.  Don't change it.

I'd want to know if the same people wouldn't mind rewriting the bible to remove some things in there?  I mean they do threaten to cut a baby in half.

crt white washes history? more like corrects whats already white washed, you mean.
    Corrected that already.

C'mon.  You have to admit the macaroni origin is quite amazing.

I’d like to see the Daily Show roving reporter ask folks at a POOTWH rally their thoughts on drag shows and queens and then ask if they can recite the song. Then follow up with a question about the particular meaning of macaroni and its origin and then explain it to them. Stunned silence? Denial? Slug him? It could be entertaining.
I would expect 95% of the population to not know the meaning of that song.
Wasn't macaroni slang for high class, and the song was orginally the british making fun of American's lack of class? Or whats the real deal?

Huge NAY, and I can't believe this is a conversation Americans are having. It's really come to this. Unreal.

Let your kids have access to firearms? Sure. Books? Not so much. Knowledge is much more of a threat.
